SubPayDesk

How SubPayDesk will work

The calculator is live today. The desk below is being built for Texas and Florida first. Nothing here is live yet, and nothing is charged during early access.

  1. Send us the job

Forward the contract, PO or job sheet, or connect QuickBooks. We'll pull out the owner, the general contractor, the property, your first day on the job and the contract value.

  2. We'll look up the owner

We'll look up the owner of record and the legal description in county property records.

  3. We'll track every deadline

We'll work out the preliminary notice, lien and prompt-payment dates for each job from the state's statute.

  4. You e-sign each notice

Notices will come pre-filled. You review and e-sign each notice. We then mail it for you, in your name, by certified mail with proof.

  5. Late invoices get chased

We'll send a reminder first, then a demand for the interest the statute allows, then a notice of intent. Each step goes out only after you approve it.

  6. Liens where the law requires a lawyer

Where a state requires a lawyer to prepare a lien, we'll tell you so.

  7. A weekly "money at risk" digest

We'll email you once a week: what is owed to you, what is late, and the deadlines coming up.

What stays with you

  • You review and e-sign each notice. We then mail it for you, in your name, by certified mail with proof. You are the sender of record, and nothing is mailed until you have signed it.
  • SubPayDesk is software, not a law firm. It does not give legal advice or represent you.
  • Your attorney has the last word on any deadline or document.
